The first Drupal Retreat exceeded my expectations by a mile. We had about 20 or so folks show up at the UT ACTLab and had a great round of speakers starting with Matt Genovese. We'll be running a complete video recap of all the Drupal Retreat proceedings here in the coming 2 weeks, so you can catch all the sessions. Here's just a "teaser" from part of Matt Genovese of Door64's talk, we'll be published the whole series in it's entirety soon.
We're already planning the next drupal retreat based on the success of the first one, and we're considering a two day format with food sponsors and more interactivity with the participants. We'd like it to be more of a hands on workshop where you can build your own drupal site from scratch or make improvements to your present drupal site.
